Natalie Wray
Community Sport Development/Facilities Manager
BA (Hons) Sport Development with Physical Education
Natalie is the Community Sport Development/Facillities Manager for Childwall Sports Centre and the Liverpool South Central School Sport Partnership. Natalie graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2006 with a first class degree in Sport Development with PE. Before taking up her current role Natalie worked for England Hockey as the North West Hockey Regional Development Officer.
Natalie’s main duties include: organising out of hours provision for young people, this includes night time and summer holiday activities; organising coach education and professional development courses; overseeing the management of the sports centre staff; and facility hire. Natalie can be contacted Monday to Friday from 9.00 - 5.00pm.
Stephen Kelly
Sports Centre Assistant/Trampoline Coach
Stephen is a sixth-form student at Childwall Sports College stuydying BTec PE and is working towards his Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. Stephen is a qualified Fitness Instructor, and Level 2 Trampolining and Football Coach. He enjoys trampolining recreationally and is hoping to complete his Level 3 coaching award in the near future.
Kimberley Carr
Sports Centre Assistant
Kimberley Carr is a fully qualified Level 2 Fitness and Gym Instructor. She also holds a Level 2 Exercise to Music Qualification. Kim is hoping to start her Level Personal Training Qualification over the next 6 months.
Kim has trained in Dance for the previous 2 years and recently reached the semi-finals of Sky One’s Got to Dance as a member of Dance Dynamix.
Kim works in the fitness suite as a sports centre assistant and teaches aerobics and body blitz classes throughout the week. Kimberley is currently training as a sports coach and is coaching in Our Lady of Good Help Primary School as part of her development.
Ian Gough
Sports Centre Assistant
Ian is currently undertaking his Level 2 Gym and Fitness Instructor Qualification with aspirations to complete his Level 3 course. Ian is starting University in September on a Sports Science Course. He plays semi professional football for Wigan Robin Park and hopes to progress to play at a higher level in the future. Ian is employed a Sports Centre Assistant.
Gary Pindar
Football/Multi Sports Coach
Gary is a qualified Level Two Football Coach, he is a competent all rounder with Level One qualifications in Badminton, Cricket, Rounders, Tennis, Handball, SAQ, Fundamentals Of movements, Long term athlete development and Boxercise.
Gary currently works as a Multi skilled sports coach for Everton and LSSP delivering to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in St Margaret’s and Shorefields Primary Schools delivering various sports and community clubs including mini kickers and Saturday morning football.
Jay Clarke
Football/Multi Sports Coach
Jay is a qualified Level Two Football coach, who is passionate about delivering the sport to all ages and abilities. He also holds Level One awards in Cricket, Rounders, Tennis, SAQ, Basketball and Fundamentals of movement and surprisingly has his Level 2 coaching qualification in Cheerleading. He has just graduated in Sports Development & Sports Studies from Liverpool Hope University.
Jay currently works as a Multi skilled sports coach for Everton and LSSP delivering to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in a cluster of primary schools situated in the South Central School Sport Partnership, these include Mosspits Junior and Infants and King David Primary delivering various sports and community clubs including Mini Kickers and Saturday morning football.
